What is Reckless Driving?

Reckless Driving is a violation of N.Y. Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1212. Reckless driving occurs when a person drives a motor vehicle or a motorcycle, a moped, or ATV in a manner that unreasonably interferes with the use of a public road or endangers the users of a highway, road, street or avenue.
