Lily G. Killar
“My priority is to zealously advocate for every one of my clients at all stages of their case. I ensure that my clients are being advocated for effectively by focusing on objectives instead of obstacles, and getting to know them in a way that helps put them at ease throughout their case.”

Personal Injury and Criminal Defense Attorney
Lily Killar is an attorney at LaMarche Safranko Law PLLC, where she represents individuals who have been injured or accused of a crime throughout Albany, the Capital Region, and Upstate New York. Known for her drive, compassion, and strong advocacy skills, Lily brings a client-centered approach to every personal injury and criminal defense case she handles.
Lily began her work with LaMarche Safranko Law in 2022 during her second year at Albany Law School, gaining hands-on experience in personal injury litigation and criminal defense before graduating in 2023. She is a proud graduate of Siena College (2020), where she studied interdisciplinary criminal justice with a focus on higher education opportunities for incarcerated individuals, and The Doane Stuart School (2015).
During law school, Lily excelled in the Moot Court Program, competing in Client Counseling, Appellate Advocacy, and Negotiations—where she and her partner were finalists. She served on the board of Albany Law School’s Italian American Law Student Association and was selected as a Colby Wellness Fellow, a role in which she advanced initiatives supporting student mental health and wellness. Her leadership helped re-open the school’s free professional closet, providing students with access to professional attire as they began their legal careers.
Lily’s dedication to service and justice began long before law school. After graduating high school, she took a gap year to co-found the South End Children’s Café in Albany, NY—an after-school program providing free healthy meals, academic support, mentoring, exercise, and arts programming to under-resourced children. She continues to expand the Café’s reach by leading its Youth Mock Trial Program and serving on the Board of Directors.
Lily has also gained valuable experience through her prior work at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Northern District of New York and the Albany County Department of Children, Youth, and Families, strengthening her understanding of criminal justice, advocacy, and the challenges facing vulnerable populations.
Today, as an Albany personal injury lawyer and criminal defense attorney, Lily combines her courtroom training, community commitment, and strong academic foundation to advocate for clients facing life-altering injuries or criminal allegations. Her passion for justice, along with her dedication to helping those in need, makes her a trusted and effective advocate at LaMarche Safranko Law.
